Why should we be interested in Israel? Visit us and find out! Come and walk through a Bible timeline from Ancient History to Modern times with displays, historic artefacts, replicas and short videos. There will also be some Israeli snacks to try, espresso coffee and some colouring activities for children (yes we have a playroom!)
The state of Israel was formed 70 years ago, but the History of the Jews in the land goes back to around 2000BC starting with Abraham.
Through the holocaust, anti-Semitism and international condemnation, Israel has not only survived, but thrived as an economic, influential and militarily strong nation.
As Bible believers we see God's hand at work in all that has happened in Israel these past 70 years, and the Bible also shows us what is yet to come.
A 2 day exhibition on 19-20th May, followed by a movie viewing "I Am Israel" and a short talk on Wednesday 23rd May 7pm at Eden Bible Education Centre. For those wanting further information- there is a seminar entitiled 'How Will It All End' at Warners Bay Performing Arts Centre, Saturday 26th May at 2.30 pm and 4 pm.
